Ready to move to learning about Level 5 Energy?
Hopefully, you have put on our boots and have been trudging through the muck of The Messy Middle. You may have fallen down and got a little dirty and bruised as you pressed on through this phase. Hopefully, you found a time and space to rinse the muck off your boots and bandage your wounds, while keeping your eye on The New Beginning.
Level 5 Energy, is what I call stepping out of The Messy Middle stepping into The New Beginning. The core thought and role of Level 5 is reconciliation. Reconciliation is the mind-set of, “It is what it is.” There is resolution to the situation. At this level we begin to feel a sense of peace. We release the thoughts and feelings of right and wrong (remember it just is), and we begin to understand there are a lessons to learn, and we begin to create opportunities from our experience of the transition. Our actions demonstrate acceptance such as a calm and confident demeanor, and there is a sense of inner peace and fulfillment. We may even begin to believe everything always works out for the best.
Back to my story, after beginning another job and buying a new home and settling into my new community, I began to realize my power and freedom laid within my ability to make my choices. I let go of my need for control and discovered for the first time, I actually gained control of myself. I was relatively happy and secure. I do have to acknowledge, many changes continued to happen in my life and the world around me. However, armed with the information related to the energy levels, they seemed much more manageable.

Back to my story, after beginning another job and buying a new home and settling into my new community, I began to realize my power and freedom laid within my ability to make my choices. I let go of my need for control and discovered for the first time I actually gained control of myself. I was relatively happy and secure. I do have to acknowledge, many changes continued to happen in my life and the world around me. However, armed with the information related to the energy levels, they seemed much more manageable.
Then, a big opportunity to live my life at Level 5 appeared one afternoon when I was mowing my lawn. I wore ear phones, so I could listen to music, while I did yard work. From my backyard I caught a glimpse of a man riding an Amigo, an electric wheelchair or sorts, and waving his arms over his head. I thought perhaps he was in trouble. I shut the mower off, removed the ear phones, and went to greet him, asking if he needed help. He told me he was fine and proceeded to relate a rumor he had heard that my house was for sale. “What?” I exclaimed. I told him I had been planning to move back to the city I was originally from, however not for a couple of years. “No matter, my son wants to buy your house now,” he said. I was shocked.
Long story short, this time the voice in my head said, “There may be an opportunity here, there are no accidents, everything happens for a reason.” Within two months I sold my house to the man’s son, moved into an apartment until I could find and purchase a home back in my home city, and I ‘retired’ from my job after five years with the organization.
One more short story related to living from Level 5. The housing market in my home city was extremely tight. It took nine months (I was giving birth) to find a house and make an offer. The house I wanted was shown on one day only, the owner received six offers. In an attempt to persuade her, I was her best offer, I wrote her a letter and quoted Oprah at the end, “This much I know is true,” then I added if your home is meant to be my home it will be. She accepted my offer, which I later learned was not her highest offer. I moved into my new home and continued ‘retirement’ which to me meant I would work on a part-time basis setting my own schedule.
Life is good!
Tomorrow, I’ll discuss both Level 6 Energy and Level 7 Energy.
Stay tuned!
