Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me and learn about the retreats I create!
My name is Debra, and it brings me so much joy to create spaces where women can pause, breathe, connect, and remember that caring for ourselves isn't a luxury—it's a necessity.
My passion for creating self-care retreats grew from a lifetime of experiences, lessons, and personal discoveries. As the oldest daughter in a family of eight children, I learned early to be responsible and dependable. Throughout my 41-year nursing career, I had the privilege of witnessing the many ways people navigate life's joys, challenges, and transitions. My own journey as a wife, mother, and grandmother has also brought me countless moments of love, laughter, learning, and growth.
Like many women, I've experienced seasons of life that have challenged me, changed me, and invited me to look more closely at what truly matters. I've come to appreciate how important it is to make room for ourselves—to listen to our own hearts, honor our needs, and nurture the parts of us that sometimes get overlooked in the busyness of everyday life.
This is one of the reasons I feel so passionate about creating retreats for women.
I believe every woman deserves time and space to reconnect with herself, rediscover what brings her joy, and remember that she is worthy of care, compassion, and kindness—just as she is.
The retreats I create aren't about adding another thing to your to-do list. They're an invitation to step away from the demands of everyday life and give yourself permission to slow down, laugh, reflect, explore, and simply be. It's an opportunity to breathe a little deeper, let go of expectations, try something new, and make room for what nourishes your mind, body, and spirit.
One of the things I treasure most is bringing women together. There is something truly special about the connections that happen when women share their stories, laugh until their cheeks hurt, offer encouragement, and discover how much they have in common. We each arrive with our own experiences, perspectives, and wisdom, and I believe there is something beautiful to be gained when we create space to learn from and support one another.
My hope is that when you join one of my retreats, you feel welcomed exactly as you are. You don't have to be a certain way, participate in everything, or have it all figured out. Give yourself grace. Follow what feels right for you. Rest when you need to, laugh often, and allow yourself to receive the goodness of the experience.
Above all, I hope you leave feeling lighter, refreshed, inspired, and more connected—not only to the women around you, but also to the woman within you.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your self-care journey. It is an honor to create these experiences and share this time together. I look forward to the conversations, friendships, laughter, unexpected moments, and meaningful connections that unfold when women come together with open hearts.
I'm so glad you're here. I hope you'll leave a little room for yourself, because you deserve it.
With warmth and gratitude,
Debra
